What I did this summer...

Summer 2010 has been a blast. Here are a few things we did this summer...

Was silly at the OAA picnic,

Had my first real ice cream cone...

Stayed cool at the park,

Hung with grandpa and grandma at the museum,

Rode bike with Cookie,

Went camping with my cousins,

Contemplated life over push-ups,

Read a bunch of books,

Rode a merry go round,

Bothered my parents,

Felt shady at a concert in the park,

Hung at birthday parties,

What, me worry?

Tried a new look,

Checking myself out...lookin' good,

Went shopping with my girlfriends,

and danced my summer nights away!!

Our little sunshine is two years old now! Here are a few pics from the past couple months...we had a fantastic Yo Gabba Gabba party for her last weekend...

It started with Kalea meeting the characters in Jtown on Friday...

Happy First Birthday!

Can you believe it? Kalea is ONE!


It is pretty incredible how fast time flies. I know it's clique and everyone says it, but it gets truer with each passing year. Kalea had a fantastic birthday party complete with bubbles, pinata and lots of good friends eating good food. Nothing better, I say.

Also this month, Kalea took her first swim class. It started off well, but as you can tell by the end she was not thrilled...

Almost a Year Old

Time sure flies. Kalea will be a year old in a couple of weeks...unbelievable. It seems like yesterday when she was just a bump in my belly! The 10th to 12th months of her life has been pretty remarkable, the jump in development that happens! She went from trying a few teetering step to full on walking in just a few weeks!! WOW! People tell you babies grow fast, but until you see it for yourself, it's ridiculous! Anyway, here are few fun things Kalea did this month...

First off, Kalea is starting to show us what she loves...for example,

Just thrilled to be walking now...

Cannot resist climbing stairs...oh oh...
