Happy First Birthday!

Can you believe it? Kalea is ONE!


It is pretty incredible how fast time flies. I know it's clique and everyone says it, but it gets truer with each passing year. Kalea had a fantastic birthday party complete with bubbles, pinata and lots of good friends eating good food. Nothing better, I say.

Also this month, Kalea took her first swim class. It started off well, but as you can tell by the end she was not thrilled...

Almost a Year Old

Time sure flies. Kalea will be a year old in a couple of weeks...unbelievable. It seems like yesterday when she was just a bump in my belly! The 10th to 12th months of her life has been pretty remarkable, the jump in development that happens! She went from trying a few teetering step to full on walking in just a few weeks!! WOW! People tell you babies grow fast, but until you see it for yourself, it's ridiculous! Anyway, here are few fun things Kalea did this month...

First off, Kalea is starting to show us what she loves...for example,

I love riding my doggie...
Just thrilled to be walking now...

Cannot resist climbing stairs...oh oh...

Arrrrgh...

of course, I love my daddy...

Just a little update...

It's finally heating up here in LA. Kalea can wear her cute jin-bei again! I keep trying to get pictures of her walking, but it's hard to capture. Here is Kalea trying to stay cool...

This one's a little older, when she attended Alayna's birthday party...doesn't she look like baby Jack in the box?

Why is it that everyone has to stick to mommy?

My first team jersey? Not UCLA, not Lakers...but Chivas, thanks to Uncle Ken when he was down in Mexico. Futbol!?





Had a fun Easter, got to have brunch with both sets of grandparents...and open lots of plastic eggs filled with treats!
